As a People & Culture Generalist at ScalePad, your mission is to cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace where employees thrive. You will manage the employee lifecycle, support engagement and development, and ensure compliance with HR policies. Your efforts will foster a positive culture, promote diversity and inclusion, and help retain top talent.

Responsibilities.

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support HR needs and initiatives.
  • Plan and execute special events to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Offer guidance and support to employees on HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Facilitate employee training and development programs to enhance skills and career growth.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and implement strategies to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Address employee relations matters and mediate conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support the development and execution of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including health and wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with TA team to provide support for interview coordination, reference checks, and related activities

Qualifications.

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a P&C/HR role.
  • Proficient in HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., BambooHR), MacOS environment, and G-suite products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, Canada-wide employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
