I am looking for an People and Culture Lead to join our company. We are an IT company with a great Nordic culture, so we can work freely, agile and implement our ideas in a way that adds value and makes us happy. We can just be ourselves. This also applies to where you can work from.
We meet our colleagues in Ostrava or Brno, where our offices are. Min 2x a week we need you in Ostrava office.

What would you do as an People and Culture Lead with us?

  • In the first weeks and months you will get to know the people, the company and its operations, and we expect you to get involved in ongoing projects.
  • Gradually you will start to provide HR partner support to the part of Czech and Slovak Tietoevry that deals with IT infrastructure (1500+ colleagues).
  • You will be responsible for local HR activities, consulting with managers and employees, working with people in the business and within HR (Recruitment, C&B, L&D) on a wide range of activities - development, communication, employment law, appraisal, remuneration, diversity, etc.
  • You will collaborate on team HR projects and processes
  • The main focus of this role is senior business partnering and strategic collaboration with a low level of operational and administrative work.
  • You will be given ample scope to kick-start your innovation gene and bring new ideas

And what would we expect?

  • Heart and common sense. It works better when we enjoy it and it makes sense.
  • Experience in a similar role in an international environment. Extensive front line HR experience is welcome.
  • A high degree of autonomy, ability to seek and propose solutions. We don’t follow strict processes or have a manual for everything.
  • Ability to create and interpret conceptual solutions. We are undergoing an organizational transformation that will require a change in approach and mind-set on all fronts.
  • Active English and Czech
  • A penchant for teamwork. It’s not a cliché, we really do work as a team

We Offer:

  • The contract is for an indefinite period of time. We count on you!
  • Extra holidays. We have 25 days off plus 2 sick days.
  • We contribute from 10 400 CZK per year. You name it. Choose from contributions for pension and life insurance, sports, culture, health, travel or education in the cafeteria.
  • Educate yourself. We regularly organise and pay for IT courses, certifications, language training and personal development courses.
  • 107 CZK meal allowance on top of your salary.
  • We’ll support you when you’re sick. For colleagues who are seriously ill for a long period of time, we contribute to sick pay in excess of the law.
  • Extra work is appreciated. When overtime is needed, we pay more than the law requires.
  • Stay fit and fresh. In Ostrava, use the free fitness facilities in the building, in other locations, do sports with Multisport.

At Tietoevry, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage applicants of all backgrounds, genders (m/f/d), and walks of life to join our team, as we believe that this fosters an inspiring workplace and fuels innovation. Our commitment to openness, trust, and diversity is at the heart of our mission to create digital futures that benefit businesses, societies, and humanity.
