Description:

Job Title: People Development Manager, Finance
Location: Preston with occasional travel to other sites. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead and manage a team of four Finance People Capability Officers, providing clear direction and guidance on Learning and Development initiatives
  • Oversee the delivery of Finance development programmes, ensuring solutions align with business needs
  • Identify and drive opportunities to adapt Finance development offerings based on stakeholder feedback, managing the process from concept to implementation
  • Guide the roll-out of the Competency and Career frameworks, regularly seeking input from relevant forums
  • Develop innovative learning and development solutions to optimise talent potential and performance
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Events Officer to ensure the effective delivery of development programmes
  • Act as a subject matter expert on development content, ensuring Finance training programmes align with business goals and objectives

Your skills and experiences:

  • Background in Finance, HR, and/or Learning & Development, with Finance experience being advantageous
  • Proven experience in people management, having led either direct or indirect reports
  • Experience in delivering programme outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
  • Ability to interpret and present data, and apply design thinking to manage projects from start to finish
  • Skilled in stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organisation
