We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to partner with the organization’s leadership and People & Culture (P&C) team as the catalyst for the deployment of the One Sanofi People Strategy for our key market organization Gulf/KSA. The incumbent will contribute to the achievement of the company’s short- and long-term goals by providing P&C leadership and support (talent management, performance, organization, culture, operational excellence) whilst ensuring legal compliance and alignment to Sanofi’s Global Business Strategy as well as the Play to Win culture.

Experience:

  • Strong experience in P&C management, preferably with Multinational Corporations and experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Business and outcome oriented.
  • Thinks and acts strategically, equally being operationally strong and results-oriented with experience in agile project / working methodologies.
  • Proven ability in change management and successful stakeholder management (internal and external).
  • Resilient and able to exercise a healthy balance of authority and collaboration to achieve the goals.
  • Executes in an organized and disciplined manner, and embraces a continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the assigned business transformation roadmap and people agenda whilst ensuring alignment with the company´s strategic business direction.

  • Implements the new People & Culture Operating Model within the MCO.

  • Leads the People Excellence Team, CoEs on local level and Employee Relations while managing in a matrix People Business Partners, regional / global CoEs in the P&C Operating Model and assuring coordination on a country level.
  • Aims to be Best in Class Team by driving a high-performance culture and alignment across the geographies.
  • Be a Sanofi Ambassador to the external key stakeholders and push Sanofi to be recognized within the MCO.
  • Drives simplification and standardization locally and through strong partnership with global Coes and BO
  • Provides support and expertise on all people-related and P&C management matters within the organization, ensuring compliance to legal requirements, ethical standards, and best practices.
  • Translates business roadmap into P&C priorities, ensuring local implementation of global P&C strategy, policies, and tools.
  • Responsible for the operational excellence of all P&C related topics, policies and processes.
  • Support Talent Acquisition and TM COE and proactively drive the field of Employer Branding and addresses current and future talent needs to ensure business continuity.
  • Manages employer-employee relations in a fair and transparent way, promoting diversity, employee relations culture, values, and behaviours. Creates and maintains a climate for effective collaboration.
  • Manages P&C budget and total personnel cost budget in collaboration with P&C Key Markets and Finance department to support local benchmarking and associated retention challenges.
  • Develops the P&C team and enhances P&C capabilities.
  • Manages internal and external network opportunities at all levels to be aware of best practices, compliance and market challenges.
  • Ensures consistent and fair implementation of Compensation and Benefits policies and practices across the countries), GBUs/GFs, in collaboration with the COE.
  • Promotes the development of a diversified workforce (gender, nationality, professional background) and support DEI commitments.
