Description:
- Job Title: People (HR) Manager
- Level & Responsibility: This role is at the Manager level and will have the responsibility of a team
- Salary Band: £43k+ depending on experience with a 10% discretionary bonus on top
- Location & Hybrid Working: London, 2-3 days a week in the office
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
As People Manager you will be a true partner to a group of business units, providing sound HR expertise and guidance to employees and management through being a trusted and knowledgeable advisor. You’ll also play an important role in driving the group people plan / initiatives throughout your areas of ownership and driving the SMG behaviours in all operational ways of working.
You will be an integral member of the People team, who leads and provides sound advice across a number of HR related matters, such as employee relations, performance management, Learning & development and reward, whilst building trusted relationships across the business and educating employees on policies and procedures.
The ambition will be for you to mentor and manage other HR professionals in the team in their career, whilst supporting our Senior PX Manager with strategy planning and ad hoc HR projects.

- CIPD level 5 or above qualification or similar advanced qualification (diploma/masters) in a relevant field
- Experience in HR business partnering across the generalist spectrum in a similar environment (private sector, media/marketing/agency/professional services)
- Extensive employee relations experience with a track record of resolving cases in a commercially sensitive manner
- Line management experience and coaching approach to developing high-potential, high-performing junior members of the team
- Ability to counsel and provide advice to a range of audiences successfully through both written and spoken media
- Ability to coach and direct junior team members
- Ability to coach and nurture manager in their people leadership skills
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skillsHighly collaborativ
