PEOPLE MANAGER
REPORTING TO: Head of Operations
SALARY: £30,000-£35,000 (pro rata)
CONTRACT: 22.5 hours per week, permanent

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Human Resources management, preferably in the third sector.
- Process driven with demonstrable skills in people management.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong operator with a logistical approach to solving problems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- IT literate – proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to drive and access to own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Operations the People Manager will be accountable for overseeing and supporting the Trust’s human resources and supporting a positive working culture. The People Manager will manage all aspects of human resources across the Trust, playing a pivotal in ensuring that our people feel supported, engaged, and aligned with the Trust’s mission. The People Manager will also support the development and implementation of internal Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, procedures and practices to improve workforce and stakeholder awareness.
