Our organisation is looking for an experienced and passionate People Specialist: Skills Development to oversee and guide the implementation of Learnership programmes and Bursary Management. Further, to ensure efficient and compliant fulfilment of the Skills Development facilitator role for Smollan and to maximise skills development grants and learnership funding. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee full Learnership value chain - recruitment; SETA administration; training; assessment; moderation & overall governance and quality assurance
  • SETA Liaison
  • Financial management pertaining to Learnerships - payroll allocation; invoicing and expense management
  • Manage SETA grant claims
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Management|
  • 3-5 years L&D experience within the SETA and Learnership landscape.
  • Experienced in the management of learnership and qualification related programmes||Essential. In depth understanding of Skills Development Legislation and Regulation
  • ODETDP or SDF qualification. Assessor/Moderator certification will be an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong programme and project management skills
  • Planning & prioritisation
  • Communication skills (verbal & written)
