QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources support role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide vital support to a team of People Partners as they collaborate with key organizational stakeholders, focusing on essential People Operations tasks. This includes handling day-to-day avenues for communication (mail, email inboxes, the Workday ticketing system, etc.) and other tasks as needed to facilitate effective People Operations initiatives.
  • Oversee and conduct internal investigations as a neutral third party, ensuring a fair and thorough process while addressing sensitive teammate concerns and maintaining confidentiality throughout the investigation.
  • Manage and facilitate leave requests and accommodations that require specialized attention, particularly those related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Paid Parental Leave, state and local leave laws, workers’ compensation claims, and both short-term and long-term disability plans.
  • Assist the People Partner Team in aligning all People Operations processes with updates to local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance standards are upheld across each jurisdiction. This role involves collaborating with the People Partner Manager to develop and implement policies and handbooks, as well as supporting internal and external audits.
  • Conduct internal audits of teammate documents, confirming teammate files are kept current, well organized, confidential, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Review, process, and respond to unemployment insurance claims, within established time frames to ensure compliance with state agency regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional teammate support by addressing inquiries about policies and procedures and helping with sensitive personal matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Help draft, review, and communicate People Operations policies, procedures, and forms, to ensure all teammates are informed and compliant.
