Description:
THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE, FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE POSITION FOR INDIVIDUALS RESIDING ANYWHERE IN IRELAND.
We’re VOID Interactive, the kickass team behind the best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not. We’re made up of some seriously talented individuals who love games and creating awesome content together. We’re seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic People Operations Generalist to join us remotely and help us elevate Ready or Not to new heights. Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time.
As a People Operations Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s culture and supporting our talented workforce, currently comprised of around 60 individuals. You will work closely with various departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process, enhance employee engagement, and help cultivate a positive workplace environment. Your expertise will be crucial in analysing team structures and planning for future staffing needs. This is the perfect role for someone who prefers a more practical approach to HR and enjoys working with people of all difference cultures and backgrounds.
In this role, you’ll be in charge of:
- Preparing onboarding materials and organising engaging orientation sessions for new hires all around the world, done fully remotely.
- Managing the documentation process for new employees/contractors.
- Introducing new hires to company policies, procedures, and our unique company culture.
- Setting up workspaces and access credentials for incoming employees.
- Conducting exit interviews and overseeing off boarding documentation to ensure a smooth transition.
- Analysing existing team structures, skills, and competencies to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Outlining role levels and growth plans for each position within the organisation.
- Performing gap analysis to determine discrepancies between current workforce capabilities and future needs.
- Recommending strategies to bridge identified gaps and enhance overall team performance.
- Forecasting future staffing requirements based on business growth projections and anticipated changes in roles and responsibilities.
- Occasionally conducting screening interviews to determine potential candidates for open roles.
- Performing other People Ops tasks as required to support the overall function and goals of the HR department.
Here’s what you’ll be bringing to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR/People Operations generalist roles or similar positions.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws in Ireland (a plus if you have experience in other countries).
- Experience working in a hybrid or fully remote setting.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Great people intuition and a hunger to continue learning what makes workplaces effective.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficient in HR software and tools, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and anticipate future needs.
- Experience in conducting employee training or orientation programs is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment with changing priorities.
- Experience in gaming/tech preferred but not necessary.
