Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Team – People Operations
Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality Stockport Office. Full time, 35 hours per week. Open to part time and job share applications.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUT

The People Operations Manager will have day-to-day responsibility for leading the UK People Operations team (4 x People Administrators) ensuring they deliver an intuitive and seamless service to Vitality employees that gives them a great experience.
This team performs all transactional HR administration requests that come through our HR ticket system across the employee lifecycle. This includes issuing of employment contracts, pre-employment checks, changes to job/hours/ salary information to processing leavers. They are also the custodians of the HR system, ensuring this system is updated and maintained.
This role will also be expected to identify opportunities for process improvement (and demand reduction) by considering how automation, generative AI and digitisation capabilities can be leveraged to improve employee servicing journeys, and to enhance self-servicing capability for employees and line managers.
The People Operations Manager is a key member of the wider people management team and works closely with other teams including Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Payroll, People Analytics and Remuneration & Benefits.
There is also scope for People Operations to grow to service the needs of employees internationally and not just within the UK.
