Description:

Common Wealth is seeking an ambitious People Operations Specialist to join us and help drive our next phase of growth and innovation. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience in human resources and recruitment and selection. Common Wealth is currently in a very high growth phase. The Head of People will be going on maternity leave, which means this role will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and step into the many aspects of people operations both before, during, and after the maternity leave. You will be working within a very willing and bought-in organization as well as having access to the leadership team to execute the many People priorities set for the next couple of years. The People Operations Specialist will report to the Head of People and be ready to support the organization’s continued growth in the People Operations function.

We work closely with a rapidly expanding network of advisors, for whom we strive to be a true partner in powering the growth of their business. We provide a user-friendly, value-for-money retirement planning and saving experience powered by an award-winning retirement technology platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all recruitment and selection efforts. Our team is rapidly growing, and we need your help in executing, strategizing and supporting all the efforts that go into recruiting and retaining top talent. You own maintaining the pipeline of talented candidates interested in working at Common Wealth, and providing ongoing support to hiring managers in building their teams. We expect you to oversee the various stages in the recruitment and selection process including: posting strategies, creating job postings, screening resumes, booking interviews, facilitating interviews, conducting reference checks, and sharing feedback about candidates. You will be reporting to the Head of People Operations to execute against the hiring forecast and continue to drive improvements in our recruitment and selection process.
  • Support broader HR operations and administration initiatives. As our company continues to grow, the administrative load has also increased. You will be responsible for proactively executing programs like: onboarding, performance reviews, employee engagement, work culture, office management tasks, payroll, and keeping our HRIS up to date. You will support us in building out internal processes in order to complete admin tasks more effectively and efficiently. You will work with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure your tasks are executed properly.
  • Manage talent acquisition branding activities. To support our recruitment efforts, you will review and improve our employer brand. At Common Wealth, we continually think of ways to make incremental brand improvements and expect you to look at the candidate’s experience with this mindset. You will be looking for ways to improve our branding activities from a recruitment point of view. Together with our Marketing team and the Head of People Operations, we would like to embrace and implement the latest trends in human resources and talent acquisition.
