Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a People Operations Specialist, you’ll focus on managing the operational aspects of the employee lifecycle for our 1000+ workforce across the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy. You’ll ensure that our people systems, processes, and employee helpdesk run smoothly, supporting the evolution of our operations as Dojo scales up.

  • Maintaining regular timetables and finding efficiencies in processes
  • Refining people systems, especially the helpdesk and HRIS (Workday)
  • Ensuring HR policies and compliance standards are met
  • Contributing to operational improvements as the company grows

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

  • Support the Senior People Operations Specialist in running an efficient, effective people support function
  • Maintain and refine scalable people processes
  • Keep employee records accurate across Workday, Culture Amp, Google Sheets, and other systems
  • Oversee onboarding and off boarding processes, including background checks and right-to-work verification
  • Handle visa applications and renewals with external providers (e.g., Newland Chase)
  • Manage the helpdesk (Jira) to respond to employee queries on various topics, such as leave, references, induction, and offboarding
  • Create and update guides, templates, and process maps to drive efficiency and enable self-service
  • Stay updated on employment law changes and adapt policies and processes as needed
  • Pull data from people systems for regular and ad hoc reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within People Operations
  • Support transformation initiatives as required
