WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

In addition to the above, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years strong People Operations experience in a fast moving and high growth environment, ideally in the technical / software industry
  • A HR qualification (CIPD Accredited is a plus)
  • A “people first” mentality and a positive attitude
  • A proven track record successfully navigating complex and sensitive employee matters
  • Excellent project management skills and a highly collaborative nature
  • Working knowledge of Irish employment laws and best practices (if you have this experience for other LearnUpon locations, that’s a definite plus!)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Tech savvy, with experience using GSuite and HR/Cloud tools (BambooHR, Greenhouse, Lattice & Confluence)

Responsibilities:

As our People Operations Specialist reporting to the Head of People, you’ll be LearnUpon’s People Ops guru. You’ll be the main point of contact for all employee queries and be an advocate and resource for all Luppers. You’ll support remote teams, work across multiple time zones and manage competing priorities while maintaining discretion, confidentiality, and good judgement at all times. In addition, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Implementing and managing a People Ops Ticketing Inbox for employee queries e.g. leave of absence, benefits, salary certificates, employment verifications, visa administration - all things admin!
  • Maintaining our HRIS for all locations, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
  • Cultivating our internal People Ops knowledge hub and training resources, ensuring all information is relevant and up to date
  • Leading and running our employee orientation programme, Lupper Life
  • Collaborating with our People Programs team to support active programs and projects
  • Acting as the main point of contact for our Security Team to support audits
  • Supporting logistics around all stages of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Managing the development, maintenance and enhancing of HR policies and processes, ensuring communication and compliance with relevant legislation and best practice
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of legal requirements, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance across all our locations
  • Overseeing benefit administration such as enrolment, renewals and queries
  • Partnering with the Finance team on monthly payroll processing
  • Analysing data and providing recommendations to improve processes and policy alignment across the busines
