Milton Keynes - Tuesday & Thursday (Hybrid)
For this role we are open to part time applicants (minimum 3 days a week)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • CIPD Level 7 qualified.
  • Proven track record in HR as an experienced and influential Consultant/Business Partner
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also to work autonomously.
  • Exceptional planning and consultative approach with project management skills and experience.
  • Analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders and senior managers through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Up to date knowledge and application of employment legislation.
  • Highly driven, proactive and passionate about HR practices, seeking to innovate, modernise, transform and improve culture, processes and the employee experience.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity successfully.
  • Knowledge of HR systems, technology and tools.
  • Strong written, presentation and communication skills with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY

The People Partner will work closely with the Head of People to deliver a proactive and commercial service to internal stakeholders. You will be hands-on and in a unique position to shape and deliver on strategic people initiatives whilst managing day to day employee relations advice, queries and people operations. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the people agenda and add value, to deliver solutions both at a tactical and strategic level as a member of “Team Agile.”

RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Work in close partnership with the Head of People, Senior Management and stakeholders and take accountability for developing, implementing and driving HR strategy and projects (as set by the Head of People) across the employee lifecycle , including areas such as:
  • Onboarding and induction
  • health & wellbeing (budgets agreed, initiatives and activities planned for the year, engagement with wellbeing champions and key stakeholders to support our holistic approach to employee wellbeing covering financial, emotional, social and physical initiatives)
  • restructuring, resourcing and recruitment,
  • salary benchmarking, pay/reward/benefits, employee recognition
  • succession planning, talent management,
  • company culture, employee engagement (pulse surveys and implementation of actions)
  • performance management
  • graduate recruitment (in collaboration with Operations)
  • offboarding, exit interviews, analysis of attrition trends for action planning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments (e.g. Recruitment/Operations, Marketing etc) in support of the employee experience and to consistently enhance the employee value proposition, promoting the Company as a great place to work.
  • Proactively gather, evaluate and analyse data (including trends) to support the implementation of HR initiatives, including areas such as the effectiveness of people management and dynamic headcount strategy. In addition, support the constant review and development of HRIS systems to ensure close alignment with the needs of the business.
  • Support the Head of People and/or Lead on regular cadence calls with the Heads of Practice/Senior Line Managers, to support, advise and influence them to own and manage their people KPIs, highlighting risks, where further intervention is required and agreed actions to manage any people related issues and initiatives to support company goals.
  • Act as a change agent to support business transformation in line with Company objectives (including but not limited to: management of project deliverables, briefing documents, workshops and line manager training sessions).
  • Keep abreast of modern HR procedures, legal matters and best practice and work collaboratively with the people team to introduce and embed new ideas and initiatives to the Company, as appropriate to support the employee experience.
  • Support the identification of HR training needs across the business and coach and develop employees in areas such as: Line Management, Dignity at Work and legislative matters.
  • Review and update HR processes to improve workflows and modernise HR practices.
  • Support the Head of People in reviewing and managing costs associated with people initiatives, internal team spend and employee benefits to ensure rates are competitive, valued added and within budget controls as set by Finance.
  • Coach the Senior People Advisor and People Coordinators sharing your knowledge and expertise to aid their development.
