ABOUT US
The creation of National Energy System Operator (NESO) is driven by an urgent need to unify and optimise our approach to energy. A more integrated and coordinated strategy is needed to meet the unprecedented challenges of climate change, ensuring secure energy supply, and keeping costs manageable for consumers.
Join us and empower your potential, energise our team, and be part of something bigger.
Your energy, our future, together.
Responsibilities:
National Energy System Operator (NESO) recognises the potential of bright and talented individuals, and we encourage you to join us as Great Britain’s energy system undergoes an ambitious, exciting, and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, more sustainable energy future.
The ESO is going through a period of significant growth, and this is a fantastic opportunity to work across the business so that we are set up to deliver on our ambitions, to support Great Britain on its journey towards net zero. The People Partner for ESO will partner with senior ESO leaders to deliver dedicated and strategic HR advice on all employee related issues, involving the interpretation and application of wider HR policy in order to suit specific business requirements and the delivery of strategic HR business objectives.
The role holder will work closely with our Digital, Data and Technology (DD&T) teams, so experience of business partnering in a professional and commercial organisation, ideally supporting information technology and unionised operational environments, is essential to the role.
This role is based in Wokingham, with travel to Warwick and other NESO sites when required, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
