Responsibilities:

AS A PEOPLE PARTNER, YOU WILL PARTNER WITH SENIOR FUNCTIONAL LEADERS TO BUILD FUNCTIONAL PEOPLE PLAN & PRIORITIES THAT SUPPORT THE STRATEGY AND LEAD IT’S IMPLEMENTATION IN-LINE WITH THE GROUP FUNCTIONS AGENDA. YOU WILL WORK WITH LEADERS AND THEIR TEAMS TO DRIVE THE PEOPLE AGENDA BY BUILDING VALUED RELATIONSHIPS AND STRONG COMMERCIAL AWARENESS TO CHAMPION THE GROUP FUNCTIONS PEOPLE STRATEGY. USING THE TOOLS AND PROCESSES PROVIDED BY THE COES TO ENSURE LEADERS AND COLLEAGUES PERFORM AT THEIR INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE BEST. THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED FROM OUR PADDINGTON OFFICE.

What’s the job?:

  • Use insight to define and drive the people and culture agenda for a function to ensure organisational effectiveness through fit for future organisation design, ways of working, leadership, engagement and Board level team effectiveness
  • Coach leaders in using the tools and processes available to recruit, retain and develop their teams and create a successful and inclusive culture based on trust
  • Support leaders to deliver people and ways of working change effectively, including initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Define the critical capabilities to deliver business performance and ensure the plan is in place to buy or build whatever is needed
  • Understand and communicate function/market needs to feed into the COE teams’ agenda, providing insight driven feedback to continuously improve
  • Using trends, metrics & key performance measures to continuously scan the function to identify and engage colleagues in opportunities for improvement
  • Work with leaders and their teams to identify future talent and coach leaders on strategies for nurturing talent, clarify career paths, manage colleague aspirations and clear succession planning
  • Champion a culture of listening, sharing learning and inclusion so that colleagues can heard and perform at their best

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience of supporting and coaching Senior Leaders in a fast-paced environment with experience navigating a globally matrixed environment
  • Experience of leading transformational change programmes and continuous improvement initiatives with strong commercial understanding and a “can do” attitude
  • Excellent business partnering and influencing skills with the ability to build credible relationships, engage and challenge colleagues at all levels
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to share a message to varying audiences and communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, understand ‘what good looks like’ and be able to demonstrate the improvement of business performance through results
  • Able to influence Group Functions initiatives and manage implementation at a functional level
