Description:

DESCRIPTION

Propeller is on a mission to take the guesswork out of moving dirt - reducing wasted fuel, time, and money. We do this through the power of maps.
Our customers use Propeller’s integrated hardware and software products to capture accurate 3D versions of their worksites using drones. With over 50,000 worksites worldwide using Propeller’s smart survey technology, we empower project teams to map, measure, and manage site activity.
Propeller empowers everyone to approach, own, and solve problems creatively. We’re data nerds who care about impact, honesty, and each other. We take pride in being a great place to work. We are proud to be recipients of BI Group’s Excellence in Customer Experience award and Inspiring Workplaces of Australasia, being recognized as a Fast Company and BuiltIn Best Place to Work. You can learn more about us on Glassdoor.

Responsibilities:

At Propeller, we know that the most important levers we have are who we hire and how we support our people. As a People Partner for our Revenue Teams, you’ll help build an engaged, purpose-driven team. You’ll support our US revenue and wider US team, ensuring everyone understands their impact and feels empowered to do their best work.
Reporting to our Sydney-based Head of People, you will partner with our revenue teams (marketing, sales, RevOps) to coach, resolve challenges, and develop programs that engage and empower our people in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with our revenue teams and wider US office. Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people strategy, including training, coaching and engagement programs. We will request that you are able to commit to being in the office at least two days per week.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the revenue team’s goals, roles, and operating model.
  • Partner with leadership to manage employee relations, ensuring alignment with our values, goals, and legal requirements. Collaborate with finance and legal when needed.
  • Work with the revenue teams to ensure effective onboarding for new starters, ramping people into their roles and enhancing the overall experience.
  • Champion existing DE&I initiatives and lead the implementation of new ones.
  • Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of results-driven Learning & Development (L&D) programs. Identify top L&D priorities and ensure delivery aligns with company goals.
  • Identify gaps and collaborate with the wider People team to continuously enhance systems and processes, optimizing efficiency and employee experience.
  • Research and provide advice on global expansion initiatives, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Support the office team in executing company events and ensuring a positive work environment.
