    We are now looking for a People Services Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

    About the role
    The People Services Manager will lead the delivery of quality services to business leaders, managers and employees, as well as driving an agenda of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to drive consistency in processes, advice and services.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality advice, support and administrative services that support Tennis Australia and the Member Associations to deliver on the promise of their employment value proposition(s) and to create a positive employee experience.
  • Coach the People Services team to provide guidance to employees and leaders on People policies and processes and work collaboratively with People Business Partners on escalated queries.
  • Continue development and design of processes to ensure they are fully compliant, reflect contemporary employment practice and adhere to guidelines, programs, and policies.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient delivery of shared service operations including playing a key role in enabling the smooth execution of payroll and benefits administration.
  • Work collaboratively across the People team to effectively deliver activities in line with Service Level Agreements.
  • Participate in and lead project initiatives to improve and implement HR processes, practices and procedures.

About you

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Proven experience advising employees at all levels on a wide range of HR matters such as contract and policy interpretation, employment legislation, modern award, employee complaints/grievances, and team effectiveness and performance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, Employee Relations or related business discipline is preferable.
  • Exceptional technical knowledge and understanding of HR and employment relations processes.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with demonstrated experience in tailoring these to suit a range of audiences.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Strong problem-solving capability with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
