As a People Services Project Assistant at Longhurst Group, you will be providing support with various HR projects and initiatives, ultimately ensuring the smooth operation and successful implementation of HR projects whilst also providing essential support to the wider People Services teams. Further key responsibilities are listed below:

  • Conduct thorough cleansing of employee files to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Undertake system data audits to verify data integrity and compliance with company policies.
  • Review and harmonise HR policies, procedures, and benefits programs to ensure consistency and alignment with company standards.
  • Assist in the review of salary benchmarking to ensure reward and benefits packages are competitive and aligned across the Group.
  • Assist in project planning and coordination to ensure projects stay on track.

To be successful in application for our People Services Project Assistant role, you’ll need excellent communication and organisational skills, with strong experience of providing project / administration support.
Our People Services Project Assistant role (operates in a hybrid capacity, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To us, this means a minimum of 1 day p/week spent in our Boston office for collaboration with colleagues across the Group, with the remainder of the week working from home (subject to business needs - we are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks). Some weeks may require additional presence in our Boston, Rushden and Peterborough offices, depending on project requirements at the time.

VETTING REQUIREMENTS

This could include carer duties, travel, seeking work, education, employment, training, or volunteering.
