Working within the wider Corporate Services team, the People Team provides a discreet range of complex HR services working in close unison with our HR Service Delivery team, internal customers, and third parties. We engage with stakeholders at every level to ensure the service is delivered in accordance with UKSBS’ policies and practice.
The People Specialist will work closely with the HR Manager supporting the implementation of the HR strategy and associated projects and initiatives, including managing case work.

To do this role well you will need:

  • Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality
  • Experience of analysing data and interpreting the results to various stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Expertise in applying HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with employees, managers, and trade unions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

To be considered, you will need to successfully obtain BPSS before commencing the role, obtaining clearance usually takes 5-10 working days.
UKSBS does not hold a Home Office Sponsor Licence under the UK Immigration System, therefore applicants must have eligibility to live and work in the UK at application stage.
