We are seeking a People & Talent Business Partner, for maternity cover, to join our People & Talent team. This is a hands-on generalist business partnering role supporting and driving global P&T initiatives across our Events and Commercial teams.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
- CIPD L5, or equivalent relevant professional qualification is desirable.
- Strong generalist HR experience in a partnering role.
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office Tools (especially excel).
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Sound understanding of international employment law (US labour law is desirable).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Initiative, proactiveness and a change enabler.
- Experience using ADP and DEEL is desirable but not essential
- Experience using Workday (ideally with implementation experience)
- Ability to maintain a positive and healthy working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Developing meaningful relationships with Senior Stakeholders across your business unit
- Provide expert advice across a range of global HR issues
- Support the HR Team by being accountable for delivering monthly reports, ensuring attention to detail and being able to meet static deadlines
- Coach and build the capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt areas for improvement and provide solutions
- Be a visible partner to LBR’s employees, providing platforms and encouraging upward communication on people-based issues and interests
- Actively participate in delivering company-wide training and change management programmes
- Support the People & Talent Director in driving the delivery of key people projects, including but not limited to career progression, diversity & inclusion, management capability, L&D and organisational design.
- Support multiple, global, payroll processes
- Be competent at managing conflicting priorities in terms of your workload
