Description:

This is a great opportunity to join a highly technical and skilled team of analysts and to get a unique experience of liaising with a range of key stakeholders, providing insight and intelligence to improve performance reporting within our Streetworks department. You will be able to have a direct influence on the strategic direction of Thames Water through the analysis and commentary of performance data enabling the business to meet their operational, commercial and professional Streetworks objectives.

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A PERFORMANCE ANALYST
- Collating and analysing complex data sets to provide business insight through visualisations and commentary.
- Design and deliver automated technical solutions in data extraction, transformation, modelling and cleansing.
- Manipulate data to provide valuable insight, information and build appropriate support tools / applications.
- Support the SOS (Streetworks operational support) team with day to day tasks as well as system upgrade projects where required.
- Support the department by liaising or attending meetings with key internal and external stakeholders if needed.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE ROLE
- Have knowledge of Power BI and Power Aps, experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Some experience with Access would be advantageous.
- Have experience of data analysis or equivalent, with confidence in converting this with the use of visualisation tools.
- Knowledge and experience with Salesforce, Street Manager and NRSWA would be advantageous.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Be self-driven and possess exceptional verbal and written skills, being able to communicate technical specifications to non-technical business users in a clear and effective style.
- Have A Level in a STEM subject or equivalent.
