JOB TITLE: Performance Analytics - Senior Analyst
SALARY: From £42,120
LOCATION(S): Chester or Cardiff
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site
About this opportunity
The Performance Analytics team sits within the Consumer Lending Chief Operating Office. We’re a multi-disciplined team of analysts focused on design, development and delivery of business unit insights and MI to support the management of the portfolios and influence strategy decisions:
We help Consumer Lending and the wider business:
- Understand key strategy performance and make recommendations to improve risk and reward across the Consumer Lending product range (Credit Cards, Loans, Embedded Finance, Homes, Transport)
- Develop performance insights across products & channels
- Interpret sophisticated processes and analysis, anticipating customer needs
- Support business strategy teams in building a broad view of customer behaviours and performance
- Understand the market, competitor, and regulatory environment
- Maximise the value of group data, analytical capability, and toolsets

What you’ll need
- Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a desire to learn and collaborate across a broad organisation
- Maths smart – good with numbers, with experience in working in roles that require high numeracy skills and/or a maths or stats qualification
- A strong and credible communicator with an ability to work across a variety of teams
- Be organised and show the capability to managing multiple tasks
- Have some experience in working with data – and some exposure to the use of analytical tools
- Have an eye for detail, ensuring all outputs are accurate and thoroughly checked
