About the Role (Your Why)
The Performance and Career Advisor supports the Manager of ANZ Performance and Reward in implementing a performance management framework that aligns with Datacom’s strategic goals. This role offers high-level assistance to managers on people and performance issues to enhance employee performance and engagement. Collaborating closely with the broader team, the advisor ensures the execution of operational activities and people initiatives across Datacom, focusing on performance management, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and change management.
What You’ll Do
As a Performance and Career Advisor, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate and implement strategies for the functional area, ensuring alignment with Datacom’s overarching strategic goals.
- Develop a communications approach to ensure understanding of Datacom’s performance management framework across all employee and management levels.
- Oversee and enhance performance reporting metrics to provide insights into the effectiveness of Datacom’s performance management framework.
- Manage performance processes from beginning to the end, from ensuring timely communication, testing and enabling systems for launch, providing training to upskill or educate others, and providing tools, guidance and/or trends for the business to ensure consistent and transparent performance principles are applied.
- Collaborate with the broader P&C team to improve the alignment of employee goal setting with Datacom’s business strategy and values.
- Assist with designing future frameworks by leveraging a deep understanding of existing practices and processes to adapt programs to suit changing business directions, while also creating frameworks that facilitate the movement of talent across the business to inspire and retain our people.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to build a culture of service excellence and demonstrates new ways of working.
- Be part of an effective team that works collaboratively and constructively to achieve business goals and promote a positive culture within the team.
