Performance Engineer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
Expertise in performance engineering fundamentals like workload models, load generation, queueing models, scalability, and TPS.
Good working knowledge of JMeter.
Proficient with Java/JavaScript code, including knowledge of data structures and algorithms
SQL, SQL Server 2019.
Oracle.
Experience writing monitoring and data extraction tools in Java/JavaScript and Unix Shell.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with DataDog, Splunk, and/or AppDynamics.
Familiarity with Jenkins, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Initial knowledge of Python is a plus.
Results-oriented and self-driven.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-learner and hard worker.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.

Validate the performance of multi-tier enterprise Java-based applications.
Write monitoring and data extraction tools in Java, Javascript, and/or Unix Shell.
Work closely with the engineering and architecture teams to make informed, collaborative technical decisions.
Work with container architecture and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with DevOps to develop full test automation and continuous integration and delivery.
