Description:

PERFORMANCE MARKETING ASSISTANT

This role will work with the Performance Marketing Manager and Performance Marketing Officer in the creation, execution and management of our performance digital marketing activity. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants an exciting growth opportunity in a fast-paced environment. You will have a passion for all things performance marketing, a willingness to learn, thrive off results and a passion for retail.
Reports to: Performance Marketing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Performance Marketing Manager and Performance Marketing Officer with the effectiveness of digital campaigns, with a focus on growing our Click & Collect offering, lead gen & gift card activities.
  • Assist the implementation of location marketing activity, working with retail and regional teams to make sure all information is relevant and up to date and we’re maximising all marketing opportunities.
  • Build key relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively execute and benchmark all digital marketing activity.
  • Support the wider team in researching and launching digital activity in new media channels.
  • Write briefs for digital marketing campaigns and compile asset requirements to brief creative production for paid media activity.
  • Report on and analyse performance, offering clear campaign feedback and insights, delivering actionable learnings and leveraging data points to inform future decision making.
  • Using reports and dashboards to distribute regular reporting to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with and support the management of channel and agency partners to support digital marketing campaigns and activities (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Media partner).
  • Support in budget management and the processing of invoices.
  • Research new developments and trends in digital marketing, identify new paid acquisition, communicate your findings to the team and develop these ideas.
  • Other duties and requirements as required by the business.

Knowledge, skills experience:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in performance marketing.
  • A deep passion for performance marketing channels & understanding of how they work.
  • Proven track record using Meta Business & Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Commercially focused and driven with the ability to work to deadlines and in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical and quantitative analysis skills.
  • An understanding of analytical tools, Google Analytics etc.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work of own initiative and in a team environment.
  • A flexible, approachable attitude with good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and copywriting skills and the ability to relay information to key stakeholders.
