Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Technical Marketer to oversee our digital marketing operations, drive traffic, and enhance user engagement across our platforms. This hands-on role combines strategic analysis, team management, and execution. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and technical skills, natural commercial awareness, and the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies. Working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams, you will identify opportunities to drive traffic growth, optimise pricing, and improve advert response rates.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Insight and Action: Analyse data to uncover actionable insights and drive traffic growth through strategies targeting keywords, traffic gaps, competitor trends, and funnel improvements.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Set up and maintain reporting systems to monitor traffic, user behaviour, and campaign performance. Use insights to identify gaps and opportunities.
- SEO Direction: Work with the SEO manager to provide direction on content and areas of weakness that could generate high traffic or high levels of response for adverts. Ensure alignment with broader marketing goals.
- PPC Management: Oversee pay-per-click campaigns, ensuring ROI-driven performance across platforms such as Google Ads and social media.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity to identify trends, gaps, and best practices. Work to source new adverts from partners based on findings.
- Content and SEO Team Management: Manage the SEO manager and content creators, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and high-quality execution.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content marketing team to ensure alignment with SEO and audience engagement goals.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to identify traffic, pricing, and advert opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Manage and direct a small team of marketers, assigning tasks, setting goals, and ensuring high-quality execution.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies to drive overall traffic and engagement, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Hands-On Implementation: Actively participate in the execution of key marketing initiatives, from campaign setup to troubleshooting.
