REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

  • Qualifications: bachelors degree in digital marketing, general marketing, information technology, or a related field.
  • Desirable qualifications: certification or recognized qualification in paid search or as a PPC Specialist.
  • Three years of experience, or more, working in paid search/social management or within an associated paid search position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Paid Media and PPC marketing approaches, principles, and standards.
  • Experience working with demand-side channels and advertising platforms.
  • Skills in campaign performance analysis and digital traffic metrics.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, implement paid search requirements and support colleagues in understanding how PPC campaigns interlink with their projects.
  • A passion for marketing, paid search, paid social and PPC opportunities.
  • Proven ability to achieve targets and results and make a tangible impact on advertising ROI and revenues.

Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with our digital marketing team, including content marketing managers, web development colleagues, and existing SEO specialists focusing on organic and paid search.
  • Introducing ideas and concepts to create high-performance paid marketing campaigns and PPC promotions to support and complement other advertising activities.
  • Launching and monitoring new campaigns, analyzing performance, and making adjustments as required.
  • Recommending strategies to help stakeholders and clients develop campaigns that meet expectations of cost, outcomes, and time investment.
  • Setting paid search/social campaign budgets, identifying achievable results within the set budget, and advising on anticipated timescales.
  • Enforcing best practice adherence to all optimization standards to ensure all paid search campaigns comply with search engine and organizational policies.
  • Identifying and researching potential new paid search/social opportunities, including different campaign strategies, platforms, and keyword bidding structures.
  • Using real-time payment platforms to maximize exposure and engagement with paid campaigns and advertising.
  • Generating a positive return against client spending as an overall exercise and per paid search campaign.
