UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) is on a mission to protect clean sport and currently has an exciting opportunity available for you to join us.
We’re looking to recruit a Performance Pathway Education Lead joining the Education, Insight and Global Engagement Directorate to play an active role in leading, developing and delivering a high-quality programme of education, information, support for key stakeholders including athletes and athlete support personnel.
ABOUT US
Our purpose:
To ensure doping-free sport, promoting and protecting clean sport through education, testing and enforcement.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
- Experience of working within an NGB or similar sport body at middle management level or above
- Knowledge, experience and understanding or education pedagogy, andragogy and learning design.
- Demonstrable experience working in sport, preferably performance sport environments.
- Demonstrable experience of relationship management to effect changes and enhance programmes.
- Experience of ‘moving others to action’ through guiding, negotiating and influencing
- Knowledge of the sport structure in the UK and the issues faced by high-performance and recreational/amateur sport in relation to Anti-Doping and drug misuse.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and creating tools and resources to support others to achieve.
- Budget planning process and management including forecasting.
- Knowledge and/or experience in Anti-Doping, preferably Anti-Doping education
- Experienced and confident presenter
SKILLS
- Proactive, enthusiastic, personable and professional
- Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
- Competent in MS Office packages, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- High level planning and monitoring ability with the capability of working to multiple tight deadlines within a time-pressured environment, producing high quality results.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with a network of key people internally and externally to achieve impactful results.
- Able to develop innovative solutions and use initiative in problem solving.

Responsibilities:
You will proactively work with key Performance Pathway stakeholders to advise and support the development of education and training programmes, supporting them in meeting their education obligations and wider efforts to protect clean sport.
You will be a member of the Education Team which aims to promote and reinforce a culture of clean sport through effective partnerships.
