ABOUT YOU
We are looking to recruit a Peripatetic Receptionist who will support the Family Hubs across the Rochdale Borough.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and motivated, with a strong commitment to quality and with good customer service skills.
You must have the ability to communicate empathetically, with a diverse range of families and professionals across other services, as well as having a high level of administrative and IT skills.
We are looking for someone who gives close attention to detail who will contribute to the family centred highly professional service we deliver.

The role includes all front of house, administrative and monitoring activity within the locality in relation to the provision of our Early Help & Early Years offer. You will also be part of the team that ensures the venue is welcoming and appropriate for families who access our service.
As part of the administrative support you will be required to complete data monitoring, spreadsheets, Excel documents, MS office applications, petty cash including raising purchasing orders, along with other office based tasks.
You would be line managed by the Children and Family Locality Lead and work closely with our other receptionists to ensure a consistant and quality approach to the work.
Partnership working is central to the service and this role you will be supporting other services to deliver their provision in the centre, booking rooms, providing equipment, hospitality etc.

The post is a 25 hour permanent peripatetic children’s centre receptionist the hours will be managed to meet the needs of the service. Hours will be worked between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (with occasional evening and weekends)
