Permanent Library Technician

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
As a condition of employment, all permanent employees are required to have completed a diploma or certificate in a related post-secondary program. If a permanent employee has not completed the appropriate training, he or she will be required to provide proof of enrollment in an approved post-secondary program within six (6) months of their permanent status. (REMOVE IF LESS THAN 4 HRS/DAY or TEMPORARY position)

Provide library services to students and staff.
Operate and maintain the computer-base library system to circulate library materials, generate reports and complete inventory checks.
Catalogue all library resources
Organize, maintain and update all materials in the library collection.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or designate and those listed in Job Description Library Technician
