This position involves continuous shift work, weekend work and some overtime in the Crushing Season (June - Dec). During the Maintenance Season (Jan - May) it is a day work position with RDO’s most Friday’s.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate knowledge of general quality control standards / procedures
• Start and stop turbines and auxiliary equipment
• Manage the bagasse, ash and feedwater systems
• Analyse Boiler water chemistry and alter chemical dosing
• Take readings of boiler instruments

• Carry out maintenance tasks as required, ensuring work permits, risk assessments and job safety analysis are conducted

  Essential Criteria for the role:

• High Risk Work Licence for Turbine Operator (TO)

• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
