About the Role
An opportunity has become available for a Personal Assistant (PA) to support AGL’s Group Tax and Financial Control teams and their business operations. This position will directly support two members of the CFO’s leadership team and will be responsible in providing a range of support services to the leaders and where required, their teams.

What you’ll be doing

  • Effective management of dairies, schedules and emails of two business leaders.
  • Action, delegate and following up on urgent and business-critical items, including to-do lists.
  • Coordinate meetings, including Town Halls, workshop conferences and roadshows and preparing agendas, minutes and action items for circulation of information to participants.
  • Draft and edit business communications, presentations and reports.
  • Manage the raising, reviewing, and approving of expense claims, purchase requisitions and invoices.
  • Maintain internal Intranet, Sharepoint and Teams content and distribution lists.
  • Management of Group Reporting and Group Tax timetables and lining up with Cosec, Audit, Risk Management and Board Clearing Committees.
  • Support the Financial Controller with business review meetings and liaising with consulting firms and external parties to ensure meeting dates, agenda items and business review packs are managed with accuracy.
  • Support Group Tax GM with the communication of sensitive documents to the ATO, as well as other Tax Governance processes and sign offs.
  • Enabling Health, Safety and Environment systems, driving AGL’s policies and standards for HSE Management.
  • Onboarding of contractors in the relevant systems.
  • Support the preparation of various policies for inclusion on AGL’s intranet.
  • Coordinate logistics of AGL and internal team events.
  • Provide backup support to the wider PA/EA network, where required.

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Personal Assistant, Team Assistant or Business Operations/Administration).
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, able to autonomously navigate Powerpoint and Word functions and basic Excel skills (essential).
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, initiatives and a good sense of business acumen.
  • Confident in liaising with and managing stakeholders from all levels of the business.
  • High level of professionalism, including requirement to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, decision-making, and the prioritisation of conflicting needs.
