Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Our Client, an NGO in the media space seeks to employ a dedicated Personal Assistant who is ambitious and looking to develop their career in the media and journalism industry, in a fast-paced professional and globally-minded work environment to work with the Managing Director.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree from a reputable university. International degrees and training are an advantage.
- 3-5+ years in the media services industry; experience in sales, bid, and proposal development an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in the use of relevant document processing and management software for documents, presentations, marketing, research, and analysis.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent time management skills
- Well-developed organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Media Reporting and analysis
- Developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the framework
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Acting as a first point of contact for callers, dealing with emails and phone calls on behalf of the MD and highlighting issues that require the MD’s attention
- Manage MD’s diary, organize meetings and appointments, and screening access to the MD
- Assist with booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
- Assist with organizing formal and informal events such as meetings, conferences, etc.
- Managing correspondence on behalf of the MD while ensuring that important tasks and deadlines are brought to the attention of the MD in a timely manner
- Assist the MD with preparing and compiling reports, presentations
- Assist with managing databases and filing systems
- Assist with implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems when required
- Conducting research, preparing reports, presentations, briefs, minutes of meetings
- Assist with collating and filing the manager’s business expenses and travel expenses
