Description:
Seeking a highly driven and creative personal assistant to support a busy founder with personal and work tasks, with significant responsibilities and tasks that will grow with time.
This role is not just about supporting; it’s about being a proactive, critical thinker and an extension of an individual. Your mission is to act as a second brain, understanding the intricacies of the executive mindset and anticipating the need to streamline processes and decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
Technical Skills
- Experience in an executive assistant role or similar (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in office management software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Notion, Asana, Slack).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
Mentality
- A “second-brain” mentality, with a focus on anticipating and preemptively addressing the needs of the executive.
- Comfortable with a high degree of autonomy and decision-making authority.
- An over-communicator who thrives in a remote working environment and understands the value of excessive transparency in this setting.
Responsibilities:
Executive Support and Representation
- Act as a proxy for the executive, managing communication and decision-making processes.
- Maintain and manage the executive’s schedule, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization of tasks.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity, representing the executive’s interests.
Creative Problem-Solving and Initiative
- Continuously seek innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Proactively identify areas of improvement and propose creative strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take the initiative to start and complete projects with minimal guidance, demonstrating high independence and resourcefulness.
Communication and Collaboration
- Over-communicate plans, thoughts, and actions to the executive team.
- Work collaboratively with other assistants and team members to ensure a cohesive approach to task management.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and feedback to improve overall team performance.
