Since I live alone, my carers are often the only people I see day-to-day, so it’s important to me to build a friendship with my carer!” - J

ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for a caring and supportive companion for J, a wonderful man in his early 60s! Your main job will be to keep him engaged and supervised, caring is not just personal care, but also friendships. You’ll be part of a fantastic team dedicated to helping J stay safe and as independent as possible.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Completing all MAR sheets
• Documenting medication deliveries and ordering
• Keeping medical records organized and stored properly
• Feeding my lovely cat, Giggys (and YES, I’m a big Man U fan!)
• J requires 16-24 hours a week
• J’s care call times are strict due to his PEG and are as follows 9 am (1.30hr), 1 pm (30min), 6 pm (30min) & 9 pm (1hr)
  I really appreciate patience and understanding, so I’m looking for someone who can encourage my independence while letting my voice shine through. I form strong bonds with people, this role is truly rewarding, and I can’t wait to meet you!
