We are recruiting to fill the position below:

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a PA role or similar, preferably in construction sector.
  • Excellent data analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as SPSS, Power BI, accounting software or similar platforms.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and construction/project management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work proactively, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • We are looking for a sound, dynamic and highly organized Personal Assistant, with extensive experience in Accounting & Audit to support our Group Managing Director (GMD)
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills.
  • This is a unique opportunity for a driven individual to work closely with the GMD in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide executive support to the GMD, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and analyse project reports, data insights, and presentations for the GMD to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the GMD’s correspondence, including drafting emails, reports, and documents, while handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the GMD and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up on critical tasks.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessment to identify operational and financial risks and recommend risk-mitigating measures.
  • Identify gaps and recommend internal control measures, including to appraise the adequacy of control systems.
  • Ensure protection of the organization’s assets against fraud and theft
  • Verify the accuracy of financial statements, reports, accounting system.
  • Support the GMD in strategic planning and organizational initiatives.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
