WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Personal Assistant with an assertive and diplomatic demeanour, capable of supporting the General Manager effectively with structure and prioritisation of the work load. You should be comfortable in a dynamic, evolving work environment with a flexible decision-making process, and possess the resilience and composure to thrive under pressure, understanding the demands of a business that operates around the clock. Furthermore, you have:

  • Comprehensive work experience as Personal Assistant;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organisational awareness;
  • Professional and discreet approach to communication;
  • Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus);
  • Advanced skills in Outlook and Microsoft Office;
  • Availability for 30 – 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Join us as Personal Assistant to the General Manager, where you will shape and define this new role from the start. Your main focus will be to support the General Manager administratively with telephone calls, e-mail, agenda, project, and time management, ensuring efficient prioritisation of tasks. In this role, you will be the key to smooth project management—keeping everyone involved, tracking progress, and ensuring projects progress on time. You will give practical advice on how projects are set up and managed, look into specific issues, and keep detailed progress updates, helping our General Manager and his stakeholders to achieve their goals.
Your role as Personal Assistant also presents an opportunity to streamline communication and decision-making processes within the management team and across the hotel organisation. Additionally, you will handle contract administration, monthly reporting and overlook the hotel’s retail rentals. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with the General Manager, establish new work structures, and contribute significantly to our hotel’s success!
