Your primary responsibilities will be ordering medical and billing records, police reports, opening claims with the insurance companies, handling incoming calls and emails, and scheduling meetings. Compensation:

$19 - $23 hourlyResponsibilities:

  • Communicate with doctor offices, hospitals, opposing attorney offices, and respond to emails
  • Maintain highly organized client case files (physical and electronic)
  • Contact auto and health insurance companies to verify coverage and send letters of representation
  • Follow up on pending requests for demand-ready clients
  • Open claims with insurance companies
  • Perform general office duties as requested

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and medical providers
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • At least 2-3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, specifically within a personal injury law firm, is highly desired
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all aspects of the job
