Job Title: Personal Injury Litigator
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £35,000 - £48,000

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a talented Personal Injury Litigator on behalf of a well-respected firm of solicitors in Carlisle. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join an established team with a reputation for excellence in personal injury litigation. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of claimant personal injury matters, including road traffic accidents, employer liability, and public liability claims. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality legal services and achieving the best outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse caseload of personal injury files from inception to settlement, ensuring the highest standards of client care
- Conducting thorough legal research and preparing accurate case assessments
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings and witness statements
- Engaging in negotiation, settlement discussions, and mediation
- Representing clients in court when required and liaising with counsel
- Complying with procedural and regulatory requirements, maintaining a keen eye for detail
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience handling personal injury cases in a similar legal setting
- Proven track record in achieving favourable outcomes for clients
- Strong understanding of personal injury law, civil procedure, and litigation process
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of £35,000 - £48,000, dependent on experience.
