Personal Injury Paralegal

Wonderful opportunity to join a Plaintiff PI firm based in San Diego, CA! Ideally, candidates are based in Southern California, but open to candidates anywhere in California, WITH CA-based legal experience.

• Correspond with clients to keep them informed and gather necessary information
• Draft documents, mostly from scratch
• Propound and respond to discovery
• Manage the calendar for case-related deadlines
• Handle e-filing of documents
• Monitor case load and take appropriate action as needed
• Assist in preparation for trials
• Support one attorney in managing a caseload of about 80-90 cases
• Leverage skills in Personal Injury Law and Civil Litigation to effectively handle cases
• Must possess strong knowledge of propounding and responding to discovery.
• Experience in Trial Preparation
• Experience in E-Filing
• Calendars deadlines
• Ability to draft documents from scratch, sometimes from template
• Knowledge of Personal Injury Law is extremely nice to have
• Candidate should have understanding and experience in Civil Litigation
