Are you looking for growth opportunity and have a desire to help people reach their health & fitness goals? We are looking to grow our Personal Training services with both one-to-one & Small Group Training programming, our members are looking for fun and engaging workouts to take them to the next level.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Instruct individuals; provide quality service to members in culturally appropriate ways and responsive to our member’s diverse abilities, contribute to an enjoyable and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies, practices and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification
  • Experience working with individuals, families and communities of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Fluency in second language desired

Availability: Looking for weekday evening & Saturday AM or PM availability
This job would combine Wellness Coach duties when not working with a personal training client. Hourly rate for Wellness Coach would start at $16.80

Per Washington State law, we disclose the full range of the pay grade for this position which is $22.25-34.40

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct energizing, fun, culturally appropriate, and educational sessions
  • Current knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members
  • Keep accurate session attendance records
  • Follow YMCA policies, practices and procedures; respond to emergency situations
