Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Petroleum Storage Systems Manager works closely with sales and operations across the company and manages daily operations of the Nisku branch to ensure safe work practices and policies are being implemented and followed. This role is also responsible for the inventory, repair, and quality of rental equipment. Internal and external Customer service is critical to success in the role as you will oversee the install and ongoing maintenance of AFD and customer operated Fuel Cardlock locations.

  • Knowledge of rental operations, technical equipment maintenance
  • Management and / or supervisory experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and e-mail required.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills

EDUCATION

Post-Secondary in related field preferred
High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce all company policies and procedures.
  • Main point of contact between Tank Division and Corporate office
  • Plan and direct the overall operations of the branch and manage staff and assign duties.
  • Be a resource for department leaders to meet customer service expectations.
  • Manage branch cost effectively, utilizing all resources to full potential.
  • Work with Human Resources to resolve hiring, payroll, or disciplinary issues
  • Oversee preventative tank maintenance and coordinate tank moves
  • Study trends to determine Client demand, utilization, and opportunities.
  • Maintain various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Review and maintain inventory procedures. Ensure rental inventory is accurate and tracked at all company locations.
  • Provide feedback to senior management regarding customer opinions, usage trends, and other pertinent information.
  • Maintain the building, equipment, and property of the facility and respond to maintenance needs, including the maintenance of company vehicles within branch.
  • Lead and/or attend weekly safety meetings
  • Create incident reports in the event of an accident or near miss
  • Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties.
  • Other related duties as required or assigned.
