The Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing and commissioning our gas turbine generators set on the field. He/she is responsible for technical and administrative issues and ensures the fulfilment of the contractual requirements, meets the project deadlines and works in accordance with the quality and safety standards established by the company.
Principal accountability:
- Commissioning of mechanical and electrical components and/or systems (lubrication, gas fuel, start-up, fire fighting, VFD, pumps, ventilators, data acquisition systems, generator protections, AVR …) of a turbo group;
- Execute modifications (mechanical, electrical and software);
- Guarantee the observance of safety, quality and local regulations;
- Solve problems and deal with unforeseen events during the commissioning;
- Give adequate feedback to project team, colleagues and supervisors and fill in the necessary documentation;
- Technical meetings with customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- interest and knowledge in the power generation applications;
- Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, electronic);
- Experience in configuring and programming electronic control systems;
- Good diagnostic / problem solving ability on sophisticated and highly complex electronic, electrical and mechanical systems;
- Strong sense of responsibility and capability to work independently as well as in a multitasking team;
- Ability to work at ease in a multicultural environment;
- Fluent in English;
- Availability for travelling 70-80%;
- Computer skilled;
- Electric certification according Czech legislation - Government Regulation No. 194/2022 Coll. is of an essence
