We are looking for a Scientist to join our Life Science team in Toronto, you will play a crucial role in the development of novel vaccine candidates. Here’s what you can expect in this role:
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
Hands-on experience in molecular engineering tools, molecular cloning (nucleic acid analysis, and protein expression), mammalian cell culture, and analytical techniques.
Knowledge of bioprocessing methods and process scale-up.
Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Global Antigen Design team to screen and improve vaccine candidates.
Lead a team to optimize and scale-up upstream processes using bioreactor systems.
Perform and coordinate analytical testing (e.g., viral titration assays, FACS, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, HPLC).
Conduct statistical data analysis, prepare reports, and present to stakeholders.
Contribute to tech transfer of processes and digital initiatives.
Ensure compliance with quality, documentation, and HSE policies.
