POSITION SUMMARY

The Pharmacist position plays an essential role in the quality and safety of our patients’ medications. They are responsible for the supervision of the Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians to ensure efficient and accurate distribution of our products and services. With professional knowledge, experience and a compassionate nature, the Pharmacist will bring a specialized approach to our team and clients that brings an incomparable value.
Under the general direction of the Assistant Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care ensuring the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. The Pharmacist responds to a multitude of scenarios including, but not limited to: verifying safe and appropriate medication administration, assessing and dispensing critical medications, rapidly responding to palliative care prescriptions and arranging drug deliveries with our delivery team.
