Position: Relief Pharmacist
Shift Dates: December 1 - March 30
Shift Times: Weekdays 9 AM - 6 PM, Weekends 9 AM - 5 PM (40 hrs/week)
Billing Rate: Up to $100/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Relief Pharmacist to join our team in the beautiful Kootenay region. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supported by a full assistant team, and use your skills to manage a steady volume of 120 prescriptions per day. The role also includes working with opioid agonist treatments, primarily Suboxone, making an OAT certification highly beneficial. With a competitive billing rate of up to $100/hr, this position provides not only an excellent professional opportunity but also the chance to work in one of British Columbia’s most scenic areas.
Pharmacy Details:
Prescription Volume: 120 prescriptions per day
Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT): 3-4 Suboxone prescriptions daily (OAT Certification preferred)
System Used: Kroll Paperless
Support: Full Assistant Coverage
Requirements:
Licensed Pharmacist with experience using Kroll (paperless system)
Strong organizational skills to manage 120 Rx daily
OAT Certification is an asset, particularly with Suboxone management
