Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes research information for clinical projects; interviews and recruits research subjects; obtains informed consent and conducts study visits per research protocol; conducts research scheduling and data collection and reporting.
  • Coordinates the day to day functions in the design, execution, monitoring and close out of all research studies
  • Contacts, schedules and greets potential subjects as they come for study visits; effectively explains research protocol, performs enrollment procedures for eligibility, and obtains informed consent, conducts subject screenings and subsequent visits which include obtaining electrocardiograph (ECG), venipuncture, and vital signs, dispensing and administering investigational product.
  • Works with the Principal Investigator (PI), the Manager of Clinical Research Operations, other research staff and possesses the intuition to support and ensure compliance and other related aspects of the clinical study.
  • Manages daily operations of maintaining accurate study files/binders, gathering lab kits for subject labs, manages electronic data capture and responds to sponsor query requests, and communicates all study visit requirements to staff and subjects. Answers incoming phone calls and able to prescreen or triage potential subjects accordingly.
  • Other duties assigned.
    Education/Certifications: Bachelor of Science in healthcare, research, or related field; professional licensure strongly preferred and/or 1-2 years of related research experience, patient interaction, project management and/or clinical environment experience considered.
    Experience: Must be able to collaborate on work projects and manage multiple work priorities; must be able to work independently, collect accurate data and complete tasks in a timely manner; maintains active training status with CITIprogram.com
