OVERVIEW
Britannia Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care within a community setting. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and enjoy servicing a community.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of pharmacy operations and medical terminology.
- Work weekdays and some Saturdays
