Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and conscientious pharmacy assistant to join our busy prison pharmacy team. Previous hospital or prison pharmacy experience would be beneficial but are not essential as full training will be given.
We are seeking a pharmacy assistant to join our friendly pharmacy team at HMP & YOI Parc. This is an exciting role in a unique sector of pharmacy practice. The post holder will be required to assist with the dispensing and supply of medication as well as the receipt, processing, storage and stock control of medicines in the pharmacy department and on wings within the establishment. Duties also include participating in the wing based medicines management service, assessing patients own medicines, and organising supplies of medication.
If you are a proactive, organised team player we’d love to hear from you. This post would suit somebody with a hospital or community pharmacy background, who is looking to make a move into a secure environment setting. All training will be provided.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
